After the regional rhythmic and fencing championships, the city welcomes the skating champions
Rho – Rho is experiencing a great sports season, a season that continues into this month of April. In March the departure of the classic Milan-Turin, a decidedly relevant event at a national and international level which demonstrated its full appreciation. In fact, hundreds of people were in the square for the presentations and departure and along the streets of the city centre.
Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April another important sporting event in the city of Rho, with icregional rhythmic gymnastics championships that they involved 650 athletes. Thanks to the organization put in place by Ginnastica Rho, the Molinello sports center was able to host the event and host the competitions.
Another event with large numbers on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April, when the Scherma Rho welcomed another 800 athletes, again at Molinello engaged in regional fencing challenges.
On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April the Inline 360 round will arrive. The regional skating championships will take place on the Biringhello rink which will bring 250 expert skaters to the city.
“These are three important events, which involve athletes and families and generate a certain impact – comments the sports councilor Alessandra Borghetti –. Rho confirms itself as a city of sport and the regionals are just the beginning: our goal is to host Italian championships in different categories. We continue to work in favor of the many Rhodesians who practice the most varied disciplines and to bring the name of our city ever higher”.
