An event, now in its eleventh edition, which has deservedly carved out its own space in the regional cultural panorama.

Drive my car. Game of mirrors between life, dramaturgical work, the pain of loss, Chekhov and multilingualism. (ドライブ・マイ・カー) the film by Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi manages to amalgamate all these elements with rigor and subtlety, telling a turning point in the life of the actor and director Yusuke (Hidetoshi Nishijima) who directs an experimental ‘Uncle Vanya’ in Hiroshima. Highly awarded around the world (Screenplay Award at Cannes, Bafta, AACTA, various Japanese Academy awards, FIPRESCI in San Sebastián, Santa Barbara Film Festival), the film received the Golden Globe and the Oscar for best foreign film.
