The meeting dedicated to the final report of the Project – National “Witnesses of Rights” competition of the Senate of the Republic and the Ministry of Education and Merit which sees the first and second E classes of secondary school rank among the finalists of the competition. In the splendid setting of the Garibaldi Theater in the presence of the school director Prof. Giovanna Ditta, of the referring teachers Prof. Benvenuto Quinci and Prof. Debora Salvo, the students presented their project in essential lines to the parents who attended and spoke with some interlocutors who participated in some phases of the project: the lawyer Firenze, the councilor Casale and the representatives of the Casa Comunità Speranza of Mazara del Vallo. The project, entitled “Mazara, between the call of the Muezzin and the ringing of the bells”, addressed and developed the Art.
2 of the Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations Assembly. I applaud the students for the activities and work carried out, which can be consulted on the website of the Senate of the Republic.
