Does Pioli deserve confirmation with the Rossoneri?
“In my opinion, yes. He’s been doing a good job for years with what they make available to him. Basically, if you don’t confirm Pioli, what would be the alternatives? Stefano knows the environment, the players. It is right that they confirm it.”
Could he be the right coach for Napoli?
“It might be the right size for him. He is a coach who transmits calm, and Naples needs this. It’s a very restless environment at the moment. We need a calm figure.”
Carlo Ancelotti managed to reach the Champions League semi-final once again.
“There was talk in our locker room that if there had been another coach who had that kind of attitude, they would have massacred him. What matters are results and, once again, he has taken Real Madrid where it counts. The great teams can be seen in this. Real Madrid, in the matches that count, competes with everyone.”
