In this case the wait was due to the dispute of game 3 of the playoff semi-final of the A2 Volleyball series, which on Wednesday 17 April decreed the two finalists, as well as the starting order of the matches to be played in the Final series .

Emma Villas Siena, a constant roommate at the PalaEstra for almost 10 years of the various “Mens Sane Basket” that have followed one another, beat Porto Viro 3-1, reaching their second promotion final in the last 7 years, with a view to the Volleyball Super League , which would bring the elite of Italian volleyball back to Siena, which is also the elite of world volleyball.

But the eyes of the Mensanini fans were also focused on the other semi-final, the one between Youasa Battery Grottazzolina and Ravenna, won on a tie break by the hosts and which therefore granted the pass to the final to the number 1 seed of the Regular Season . They will therefore start the final at home, having the home advantage.

Furthermore, it was impossible to anticipate and put oneself in the final credits of Virtus who obtained the PalaEstra to play their matches in the final phase of the inter-regional B.

Having said this and returning to basketball, Game 1 between Note di Siena and San Vincenzo will be played at PalaEstra on Sunday 21st at 6pm. While Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday 24th April at 8pm, again in Viale Sclavo. Race 3 instead in San Vincenzo on Sunday 28th at 6pm. The rest… we’ll see…
