Zeoli’s audio released on social media and the apologies: Catania’s statement

In the last few hours the Etna football scene has been flooded by yet another controversy in a truly complicated season, on all fronts. In fact, on social media, an audio by Michele Zeoli – evidently released without any authorization – in which the Catania coach lets off steam about internal dynamics in the team’s locker room, is going crazy. These are facts dating back to the week following the match lost against Turris, in particular we talk about the consequences of a substitution involving the player Chiricò.

Now that the story and the thoughts of the Rossazzurri coach have become public knowledge, the professional has decided to entrust some reflections to the club’s official website. “I consider it appropriate and necessary to also publicly apologize to the club and the team for the content of a voice note of mine of a strictly private nature – admitted Zeoli -, dating back to the week following the match lost against Turris and which became the subject of unauthorized dissemination. I have already clarified all aspects of this situation with the managers and the players, taking full responsibility for the case.
