Double appointment “Let’s clean the world” in Treviso with the alocal associations With the support of Legambiente Treviso two ecological walks on the occasion of Earth Day: Saturday 20 April at 3.00 pm in the Sant’Antonino district e Sunday 21st at 8.30 am in San Zeno To celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd, the neighborhood associations Salvaguardia Ambiente Treviso Casier Onlus and Qua San Zeno, in collaboration with Legambiente Treviso and Contarina, have organized a double cleaning event in the area.

The “Let’s clean up the world” initiative includes an “ecological” walk, that is, a walk in company to collect rubbish and cigarette butts from where they should not be: on lawns, pavements and streets. In Sant’Antonino we start on Saturday 20th at 3pm, followed by San Zeno on Sunday 21st at 8.30am. 400 thousand volunteers mobilized every year, 1300 cities involved and over 4000 areas cleaned: these are the numbers of the now historic Legambiente initiative “Let’s clean up the world”, which returns to the capital of the Marche in 2024 thanks to the involvement of the local club.

For the two events (San Zeno and Sant’Antonino) mandatory registration and punctuality are required to best organize the groups into separate routes. So meet up at the car park in Via Famiglia Alberghetti in Sant’Antonino on Saturday 20th April at 3pm with the volunteers of Salvaguardia Ambiente Treviso Casier Onlus, while for Sunday 21st the meeting is at 8.30am in the square of the Church of San Zeno with Qua San Zeno.

All the necessary material such as work gloves, reflective bibs, caps, waste collection tongs, is provided by the associations, in partnership with Legambiente and Contarina, but anyone who wants it can equip themselves with it independently. The double event enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Treviso.
