TREVISO – Housing for employees, 120 new apartments for those who have a job and a salary but cannot afford a house because costs and rents are too high. A series of benefits for living were approved by the municipal council through an amendment to the Regulations for the creation of the Peep, introduced by the Municipality of Treviso in 2003.
The purpose of the changes is to provide numerous rewards for those who decide to build subsidized residences. The fundamental innovation consists in extending it to production companies as well possibility of building accommodation to rent to its employees, taking into account that the job market requires more and more qualified personnel, including those coming from outside the Region or Province. Explaining how it works in this interview is theCouncilor for Urban Planning Andrea De Checchi. (video by Paolo Calia)
