TUSCANY SNOW WEATHER. Update on the snow in Tuscany with a situation that is rapidly changing throughout the northern mountain sector.
Heavy snow is in fact reported on all the hills of the Massese and Lucchese Apennines with a tendency to also involve the Pistoia one.
The snowy phenomenology is often “pushed” by intense precipitation associated with storm bodies which are also affecting the Apennine ridge.
In particular, the first accumulations on the ground in the Zeri district are noteworthy, as are the flakes reported in the upper Garfagnana already at 800 meters above sea level.
Snowfall that will continue in the next few hours and which will lead to accumulations rising. Possibility, as already mentioned yesterday, of accumulations even close to 10 fresh centimeters.
Dense snow is present at the Cerreto Pass with the first dusting while for the moment it is snowing more lightly in the Abetone area.
A more general worsening of the weather is embracing the entire northern sector of Tuscany with a tendency to shift its center of gravity towards the south
