A fundraiser for little Ciprian starts from Dimiccoli in Barletta

“For a few days we have been following little Ciprian at home, after his discharge from hospital. The little boy, in addition to being deaf and blind, is forced to bed because he is connected to a mechanical ventilator and artificially fed. Unfortunately, the family’s limited economic resources force Ciprian to live in a small house of 20 square meters, sharing the spaces with mum, dad and little sister”.

These are the words of the doctor Marco Gaglio who, together with a group of doctors and nurses from the hospital’s intensive care unit Monsignor Dimiccoli Of Barletta has launched a fundraiser on GoFundMe to help Florinel Ciprian, a 13-year-old child who lives with his family in Barletta and is affected by a “spastic-dystonic tetraparesis and neurodevelopmental disorder due to variant of the SPATA 5 gene”, as explained by Dr. Gaglio.

“The purpose of this collection is to achieve a budget that will allow the family more adequate accommodationFor give the child at least one room that can be reached by sunlight”.
