Volotea inaugurates the Rome Fiumicino-Brest flight

Volotea inaugurates today, Thursday 18 April, the connection to Brest, reachable with 2 weekly frequencies, on Thursdays and Sundays from the ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ airport in Rome Fiumicino. For 2024 there are 8 cities connected by Volotea from the Roman airport: 1 in Italy (Olbia), 6 in France (Bordeaux, Brest – new 2024, Lille, Lourdes/Tarbes, Nantes and Strasbourg) and 1 in Spain (Bilbao) .

“From today we will further shorten the distances between the Capital and France – commented Valeria Rebasti, International Market Director of Volotea – With the new connection, the many French tourists will have an additional opportunity to organize an escape to Rome, to discover art, history and good food. Brest enriches our bouquet of destinations: the international connections available from Rome Fiumicino thus rise to 7, to which is also added the important route with territorial continuity to and from Olbia”.

“The growth of Volotea once again confirms the great attractiveness of our market – said Federico Scriboni, Head of Aviation Business Development at Aeroporti di Roma – the flight to Brest further enriches the network of air connections for France, the second international market for passenger volumes, expanding the offer to 16 destinations served directly from Rome Fiumicino
during the summer of 2024”.
