Corigliano-Rossano, 04-16-2024 – It will be the duo composed of the maestro ELVIRA ROBERTA GAETANI at the piano and by the maestro FABIAN PORTO to the clarinet the next concert appointment in April of the nineteenth edition of “The City of Music”. The concert is organized in collaboration with theAcam Beethoven Crotone.
The DUO was born from the sharing of a passion that has always accompanied the two on their life journey.
The strong union, and from the musical and friendship point of view, gave rise to a real path of professional studies which will lead them to obtain the II level Academic Diploma in Chamber Music at the “Stanislao Giacomantonio” Conservatory of Music “of Cosenza, under the guidance of Maestro Luca Bruno and Maestro Giulio Ferretti.
Over the years, the duo has had the opportunity to study with internationally renowned masters, including M. Alberto Miodini, pianist of the Parma Trio.
The duo boasts a vast repertoire of classical, operatic, contemporary music, cinema music and blues.
The duo has been present in Calabria for over five years and in the last period they have also performed abroad, in Ampflwang, Austria.
The duo will perform to the tune of C. Saint-Saëns, sonata for clarinet and piano op. 167 and J. Brahms, sonata for clarinet and piano op.120 n.1
The concert is scheduled Saturday 20 April at 7.00 pm at the room of the Musical Studies Center “G. Greens” in show n.352 of the successful musical event.
The artistic direction is entrusted to the pianist Teresa Campana. Free entry.

ELVIRA ROBERTA GAETANI, born in 1996, obtained the Second Level Academic Diploma in March 2022 with top marks in the Piano class of M° Angelo Guido, at the “Stanislao Giacomantonio” Conservatory of Music of Cosenza. She has participated in national and international competitions, winning both as a soloist and in chamber music.
FABIAN PORTO, born in 1997, obtained the Second Level Academic Diploma in Clarinet with top marks in October 2023, under the guidance of Maestro Alfredo Vena at the “Stanislao Giacomantonio” Conservatory of Music in Cosenza. He has won several competitions and has participated in numerous masterclasses held by important masters.
