In case of success on Sunday, in the match scheduled for 6pm on April 21st against Salerno it will be mathematical qualification for the postseason to access B1.
On this topic, and beyond, we listened to the most prolific player of the neroarancio group, Illia Tyrtyshnyk.

What race did you experience in Monopoli?

“To be honest, now, all the games are difficult.
It’s very difficult to win away.
We put in everything we had and we succeeded.
Now, it’s all in our hands and we want to win.”

Do you see growth in your group?

“Often, at most we suffer comebacks, but I think it’s also physiological.
We listen to the Coach’s advice and directives, we are constantly improving but, I believe, the primary objective was to win and we succeeded.”

Sunday’s match against Salerno: what challenge do you expect?

“Salerno is strong, like all the other teams in this group.
It’s played minute by minute, until it’s over.
We must forcefully extend the gap to become unreachable and not let ourselves be caught up.
In Monopoli, for example, in the first minutes of the fourth period, we suffered a 10-0 partial: we can’t afford it.”

The formula and regulations of this tournament?

“At the end of the Monopoly competition we were all “attached” to our smartphones.
We talked about it for an hour, looking at the regulations to understand something more.
The formula didn’t convince me.
Now we are fine with it, because if we win we are qualified, but the formula cannot be shared like this and at the same time the market is open for too long, or open in certain leagues and closed in Italy.

A message for Reggio Calabria and its fans?

“Thank you.
Since the beginning of the year they have always been present, since the Capo D’Orlando race.
We feel this heat, it is our strength.
Very often, when we play away, it feels like we are playing “at home”.
Unfortunately, we lost too many games at PalaCalafiore but we want to redeem ourselves and conquer the postseason.”
