“Extreme danger for drivers and motorists”
Pescara – Chaos in the resulting area in Pescara, due to some changes to the road system decided by the current municipal administration, to allow the reclamation in the northern area of the car park”.
The complaint comes from the candidate for Civic Mayor of Pescara, former Vice President of the Regional Council Domenico Pettinariwhich speaks of “general chaos with paid parking located in the area closed to car access and reserved, instead, for the traffic of buses which are no longer able to have room to manoeuvre”.
Work started last April 3rd and will continue until May 30th, resulting in a “dangerous” situation – underlines Pettinari – which puts bus drivers, motorists and even those who find themselves having to pass through this area in serious difficulty. We are faced with yet another confirmation of how this municipal administration is unable to manage even the resulting area, where we have repeatedly witnessed changes to the roads and parking lots. A situation as serious as it is almost obvious, if only we think of all those wicked choices on the road system, totally compromised, such as Viale Marconi or other areas in a total state of chaos and abandonment”.
Alongside Pettinari, too Aex OrlandiSecretary for the Abruzzo Region of Orsa Trasporti, who joins the protest by talking about exasperated drivers who are no longer able to carry out their work easily and who could already block the urban service in the next few hours.
“We welcome the cry of alarm and the request for help from this category – concludes Pettinari – by acting as spokesperson and asking the municipal administration to immediately restore a situation of normality in everyone’s interest”.
