It’s always him, Danilo Marchisio. Already in prison in Vercelli for about a month after the arrest which occurred a few minutes after having robbed the Prestofresco supermarket in Alessandria thanks to the intervention of a customer of the store who chased him and blocked him, yesterday the Flying Squad and Carabinieri of Asti arrested him a detention order was also served for other robberies which occurred in the same days.

In particular, for the robberies at the San Lazzaro pharmacy and the Lidl and the one attempted at the Garello in Corso Galileo Ferraris. In reality there was also another attack at the San Fedele pharmacy, in the same days, but for the latter no evidence was gathered against Marchisio.

The investigators, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Asti, reached him by comparing the clothing worn at the time of the arrest after the supermarket robbery with that recorded by the video surveillance during the other robberies. Added to this initial finding were other investigative elements collected which led to his arrest with a high degree of probability of his responsibility in this series of attacks.

The modus operandi was always the same: he entered the shop, supermarket or pharmacy armed with a knife (and on one occasion also with a gun) and with his face partially covered by a neck warmer and a baseball cap firmly planted over his eyes to make himself unrecognizable. , threatened employees and cashiers to get the contents in cash.

The news arrives on the same day in which, as already announced, the Prefect Claudio Ventrice illustrated the Protocol for legality and security regarding anti-robbery video alarms in the presence of the Gecom Securshop representative and the presidents of Confcommercio, Confesercenti and Federfarma of Asti .

This is a protocol adhering to a renewed national agreement with the Ministry of the Interior to promote the use of video surveillance systems inside commercial establishments equipped with high-tech solutions capable of connecting directly to the operations centers of the law enforcement agencies that They are thus able to follow, in real time, robberies and any other critical moments and intervene promptly with patrols in the area.
