The weekend’s races saw good general progress from the athletes from Alba, who were busy on several fronts:

in the youth field Atletica Alba in clear evidence with many personal records: Pietro Alluto winner in 2’50”93 of the 1000 Cadets held in Cuneo in the meeting dedicated to the 80th birthday of Franco Arese; Davide Ferrero was third twice in Beinasco (TO) in the 80 in 9″59 and in the long jump with 5.61 (Nicolo Magliano also did well with 5.40).
Matteo Ponte in Vercelli sixth overall and second among the students in the 200 in 23″60.
Overall, Andy Gatto, playing for Roata Chiusani, placed third overall, in a good 1’03”90, in the 500m of the “Athletic Elite” meeting held at the Milan Arena; Also noteworthy is the personal best of Mattia Castagnotto (Atletica Alba) in the 400m course in 51″61.
