Maintenance of the paths, here is the Region’s announcement: 10 thousand euros per Municipality or Union

Mowings, cuts, brush clearing, but also signage maintenance interventions. They amount to 450 thousand euros the resources that the Emilia-Romagna Region makes available with a new tender for the maintenance of the regional hiking network in the Apennine territory, but not only. The resources are intended for Municipalities and Unions of Municipalities and will be used to support ordinary maintenance programs, thanks to contributions that may reach up to a maximum of 10 thousand euros. Additional scores are foreseen for interventions that will be carried out primarily in the territories of a protected area, of the Natura 2000 network, of a UNESCO Mab area or of the “Evaporites and Caves of the Northern Apennines” site which has recently received recognition as a World Heritage Site. Unesco World Natural. The same applies to projects involving sections of the Alta Via dei Parchi, especially those proposed in a coordinated manner by several Municipalities. In 2023, the resources made available by the Region amounted to 422 thousand euros and made it possible to finance 50 interventions.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION – Each organization may submit only one application and send it to the Emilia-Romagna Region by 31 May 2024 exclusively by certified email (PEC) to the address [email protected]. The outcome of the selection, available by 31 July 2024, will be published on the regional website at ambiente.regione.emilia-romagna.it/it/parchi-natura2000/bandi.
