“Simple digital in Ferrara”. This is the project presented yesterday morning at the headquarters of the Laboratory opened in the former Teatro Verdi which involves the activation of the digital facilitation point, which was inaugurated for the occasion. The meeting was attended by Micol Guerrini, municipal councilor for youth policies, international cooperation, IT services, Andrea Maggi, municipal councilor for the Pnrr, Paolo Calvano, regional councilor for the budget, Sandro Mazzatorta, general director of the Municipality of Ferrara, Massimo Poletti, manager of the information systems service of the Municipality, Marco Gaione and Marco Antonio Rizzo, OpenLab – Open Laboratory of Ferrara.

“As a Region we are investing a lot, we want to create 199 digital facilitation points throughout the territory. A great opportunity also for Ferrara”, Calvano’s words. Guerrini added: “This is a process that began five years ago with specific investments. The service, which will be present both in the center and in the surrounding areas, will be totally free for citizens.” There will be seven digital facilitation points that the Municipality will activate in just under a month in various areas of the center and the hamlets, following the awarding by the Ferrara Authority of a loan of 175 thousand euros, as part of the Pnrr project managed by the “Digitale facile in Emilia-Romagna” Region (Measure 1.7.2). The objective is to encourage the spread of digital citizenship across the territory. From next June, in fact, the new free service, dedicated to citizens, will promote knowledge of the tools offered by digital platforms and systems and access to online services at the branches open in various locations. At the digital facilitation points, citizens will be able to receive assistance on various topics, activate Spid, reservations with the Electronic Health Record, the Io App, payments via PagoPA and more. The Open Laboratory of Ferrara, therefore the companies of the RTI Open Lab srl and Cidas, will take care of the coordination of the facilitation points, MediaGroup 98 of the communication of the project. The locations Laboratorio Aperto (Ex Teatro Verdi – via Castelnuovo 10), open Monday and Wednesday from 9am to 6pm; Saturday from 9am to 6pm, Public Relations Office – Piazza del Municipio 23 (Monday to Friday 8.30am – 1pm, Saturday 9am – 12pm, Tuesday and Thursday 2pm – 5.30pm).

Public Relations Office in Pontelagoscuro (North Delegation, piazza Bruno Buozzi 14), in Porotto (West Delegation – via Ladino 24) and in Gaibanella (South Delegation, via Raffaele Sansoni 20), Monday, Wednesday, Friday: from 8.30 to 12.30; Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 12.30pm/from 2pm to 4.30pm. The facilitation point at the registry office in via Otello Putinati and the one-stop integrated social desk – Ssui in Corso Giovecca at the Casa della Salute Cittadella San Rocco are expected within the year.
