The roe deer in via Romana
The first exit, shortly after 7am, was requested due to an accident along the four-lane E78 in Palazzo del Pero. The second intervention was instead necessary to help a wild animal, a roe deer, got stuck between the metal bars of a railing of a house in the Via Romana area of Arezzo.
Road accidents
Another road rescue, at the same time, on the A1, heading north at kilometer 366 between the Monte San Savino and Arezzo toll booths: it was an independent accident involving a car, which overturned: a 31-year-old injured by the emergency health workers (nursed ambulance Misericordia Monte San Savino) in code yellow at the San Donato hospital in Arezzo. Long queues following the incident, with the Polstrada also on site. A further road accident required the intervention of the Arezzo firefighters in Sansepolcro. The latest in the series, without injuries, involved a car and a motorbike on Sr71 in Castelnuovo di Subbiano.
