The weekend nightlife in Trani remains a problem, with fights and wild parking

The not at all calm chaos of the weekends in Trani, the exodus and counter-exodus during the morning and evening arrivals and returns, the crowding of car parks and the crowd of cars and people in these almost summer days, is a situation that leads more and more frequently in the triumph of incivility, of non-compliance with the rules, to the point of the occurrence of episodes of violence, whether small or large.

And so also the other evening around midnight, in the chaos of the port area among the jungle of parked cars and queues steaming with smog, there was a fight with a beating for trivial reasons, a shove, a parking space, a word too many, it’s not the reason that’s important but what happened, among those small packs that wander around especially when the controls and blue flashing lights become more sparse.

The attack, the punch, the blood dripping onto the pavement, the people’s rescue, the call to the police. The scene, unfortunately, is one of those “already seen”. Fortunately, so to speak, nothing very serious for the victim. But a few years ago, a similar dynamic in a similar area also unfortunately ended with an unforgettable innocent victim. Unfortunately, all we have to do is write about it.
