First national place in the BIMBOIL Junior category for the “Pasquale Cafaro” school in Andria

Triumph for the “Pasquale Cafaro” Secondary School of Andria at the National Competition “Olio in Cattedra 2023-24”, first national place in the BIMBOIL Junior categorypromoted by the national association Città dell’Olio!

Classes 1E, 1F, 2F, 3A, 3E and 3F defeated the competition with their essay entitled “EVO OIL at the fair… for all the senses – Multisensory exhibition”, an immersive journey to discover extra virgin olive oil judged by the jury, “an innovative but above all inclusive product”.
A unique multi-sensory experience!

The sensory rooms designed and created by the students – The Green Room, The Noises Room and The Taste Room – allowed us to explore the universe of EVO oil with all five senses, in an engaging journey accessible to all. A true triumph of creativity and ingenuity, which “was able to celebrate the synergy with the territory and with the actors who are part of it”.

And what about the BIMBOIL category for primary school?
Their training path, centered on the “journey” between different diets and different lifestyles around the world, resulted in the creation of the “RicettOlio Merendero” which allowed 164 fourth grade boys and girls to learn about the typical snack recipes of their English teacher-readers, “Mediterranesing” them, that is, introducing EVO oil among the ingredients, the undisputed prince of Italian, Apulian and Andria cuisine. A very tasty and fun “journey” and we hoped that those who would judge it would also like it.

The judges were not able to smell the aromas of the dishes but were certainly able to appreciate with their sight the fantastic recipes born from creative writing exercises, the comics and the artistic works inspired by the eat art of the little students of the “Giuseppe Verdi” primary school which conquered second place in the national Bimboil competition.
