The dissemination and awareness project by volunteers continues in city schools.
Civitavecchia, 17 April 2024 – The project to disseminate and raise awareness of the culture of Civil Protection continues in city schools. Yesterday the team of volunteers who are experts and qualified in various operational sectors, including Training and Search and Rescue Dog Units, involved the young students of the Collodi school in their activity.
“It was nice to see the children paying close attention and asking questions of genuine curiosity. We need to invest in the new generations, we have been doing it for years – reports the coordinator of the Crisis Unit, Valentino Arillo – by continuing to raise awareness among families through students, with the Alert and Information system called Alert System, which the administration has put in place in the field, to guarantee a prompt response to citizens in case of need.
Another point is the opening of registrations for the Municipal Civil Protection Volunteers Group, a feather in the cap for the various administrators who have succeeded one another, because it must be remembered, the volunteers operate silently throughout the national territory. Thanks go to the director and teachers of Collodi, and to the director of the Marconi institute who in recent days hosted the volunteers in the classes to spread the project”.
