Quaglieri case, green light from the elections council. The minority abstained

L’AQUILA – The elections board of the newly elected Abruzzo regional council met yesterday morning. The group leaders of the council are part of it. The green light has arrived from the organisation five surrogates “taken” after the council’s appointments. The names of the “surrogates”, the first of those elected on the provincial election lists, are: Carla Mannetti for the League (L’Aquila district), in place of Emanuele Imprudente; Marilena Rossi for Fratelli d’Italia (Teramo district), in place of Umberto D’Annuntiis; Maria Assunta Rossi for Fratelli d’Italia (L’Aquila district), in place of Mario Quaglieri; Antonietta La Porta for Forza Italia (L’Aquila district), in place of Roberto Santangelo; Francesco Prospero for Fratelli d’Italia (Chieti district), in place of Tiziana Magnacca.

The draft agenda seen by the group leaders also provides for the presentation of the government programmatic lines by the President of the Council.

Today, during the meeting of the President’s Office, the subrogating Councilors will be proclaimed; as anticipated, the Regional Council on 23 April will confirm the subrogations. The five new Councilors will officially take office the day after the meeting.

Meanwhile it’s all commissions. Several names running for the five ordinary commissions of the regional legislative assembly. For Fratelli d’Italia there would be Campitelli, Gatti and D’Addazio, for Forza Italia the councilors Di Matteo and La Porta, while for the Lega D’Incecco and Mannetti.
