L’AQUILA – There are just eight municipalities in the province of L’Aquila called to vote to renew the municipal council in the elections of 8 and 9 June. The date arrived with a decree from the Ministry of the Interior dated 10 April 2024. The operations relating to the first round of voting will take place at the same time as the election of Italy’s members of the European Parliament. Polling stations will open on Saturday 8 June from 3pm to 11pm and Sunday 9 June from 7am to 11pm.
