“Souzan Fatayer, professor at the Oriental University of Naples with Palestinian origins, has been nominated by Avs in the next European elections. So far nothing bad. The problem arises after reading an article published today in the newspaper ‘Il Tempo’. From those columns a chilling reality emerges. This teacher with aspirations that point to the European Parliament, in fact, declares herself openly anti-Semitic on social media and accuses Israelis of being Nazis. ‘Zionist soldiers rape Palestinian girls in front of their husbands, their brothers, their fathers and if they close their eyes they are killed,’ she writes. It is worrying that a prospective MEP expresses these positions. Just as it is unacceptable for a university professor to hold such a posture on the crisis in the Middle East.”
