CAMPOBASSO. It was presented, at Palazzo Vitale, the 2021-2025 Program Agreement between the Ministry of Transport and Anas in the presence of President of the Molise Regional Council, Francesco Roberti, the councilor Michele Marone and the Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Sen. Alessandro Morelli.
“The funds provided for by this agreement, equal to one billion euros, confirm the great collaboration of the Molise Region with the central government and with Anas – the comment of President Francesco Roberti – A theme, that of transport, in which the Molise Region is investing and will invest with targeted interventions. In the planning of the Development and Cohesion Funds we have foreseen over one hundred million euros for the so-called secondary roads, in order to connect the Provincial Roads with the arteries that connect Molise to the Adriatic ridge on one side and the Tyrrhenian Sea on the other. Thanks go to the Ministry of Transport and Anas for having included important interventions on our roads in their planning”.
“The Molise Region, in order to allow for a speeding up of transport, is working on both road and rail mobility, because the relaunch of the economy, with the investments planned in Industrial Consortia, cannot ignore greater ease of movement on the territory”, he continued Roberti.
The interventions – Anas in Molise manages a road network of 664 km for a total investment of 1.05 billion euros.
Investments are divided into: 520.47 million euros for Planned Maintenance and * 525.05 million euros for New Works.
Over the last three years (2021/2024), scheduled maintenance works have been completed for an amount of 122.16 million euros, interventions for 124.29 million euros are being completed and other works soon to be started for 70.78 million euros.
Further interventions worth 203.25 million euros are currently being planned.

Scheduled Maintenance Interventions, currently being planned
– Works necessary for the construction of the alternative route to the Molise I Viaduct of the SS647 “Fondovalle Biferno” from the “Guardalfiera” junction to the “Diga del Liscione” junction along the Termoli – San Vittore itinerary. EXTRACT I° (104.95 million euros).
– Extraordinary maintenance works on the Sente Longo viaduct along the Provincial Road 86 “Istonia” (19 million euros): first phase interventions – first phase (9 million euros), the additional necessary sums are being raised (10M€ ) to complete the first phase intervention for which Anas already has the executive planning.
– Scheduled maintenance work on the “Trigno” viaduct at km 24+765 of the SS650 – 1st part (6.85 million euros).
– SS 647 “Fondo Valle Del Biferno” structural consolidation interventions on the pillars and piers of the “Molise I” viaduct, IInd Lot (5.63 million euros).
