BARI – «The exploratory activity carried out yesterday refers exclusively to the verification, by the European Prosecutor’s Office, of some expenses relating to the organization of the courses financed in the period 2019-2022, already subject to similar and positive verification by the Administrative control bodies. We are therefore certain that this further inspection initiative will also be able to evaluate the full correctness of the work carried out”. This is what the Kronos association announced in a note following the searches ordered by the Eppo of Rome for the hypothesis of aggravated fraud to obtain European Union funds and the issuing of invoices for non-existent operations in relation to the Youth Guarantee programme. . The accusations concern Alessandro D’Adamo, legal representative of Kronos, his sister Annalisa and his brother-in-law Danilo Cicchetti. After the search, D’Adamo’s mandate as Budget Councilor of the Municipality of Bari was revoked.
