The “B-Treat Campania for Weddings 2024” starts from Naples

NAPLES. The “B-Treat Campania for Weddings 2024” starts from Naples, the international professional event, promoted by the marketing company WEMA Global and organized by Destination Naples with the support of the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples.

This event, intended for 30 luxury wedding planning agencies from various countries, was created with the aim of enhancing and promoting Naples, and Campania in general in the sector of luxury weddings and events. The B-Treat intends to propose an organizational model for luxury events and weddings with an international scope, encouraging the connection between event venues and suppliers of wedding services and products in Campania and the best wedding event planning agencies. Numerous moments of visits to the locations for events and focus on the sector are scheduled until April 19th with conferences, workshops and masterclasses between Naples, Sorrento, Capri and Sannio.

Naples is the starting point of a path still unknown to international wedding companies. With its royal palaces, its castles, its historic homes, its panoramas and its various artistic and creative expressions, the city of Naples has the right appeal to host luxury events with an international scope.

For this reason, the inaugural day of the B-Treat program was held in Naples, to illustrate the city and some of its most significant event and wedding venues, including the splendid Sala della Loggia del Maschio Angioino. After a networking lunch, to introduce the guest wedding planners to Neapolitan hoteliers and entrepreneurs, a presentation party was held at Villa Fattorusso. In the dreamlike scenario of Posillipo, products, companies and services that revolve around the organization of events were presented, from the typical buffet with Neapolitan street food to the selection of artisanal products dedicated to weddings, from jewelery to leather goods, to wedding and formal dresses. .

Present at the opening event Teresa Armato, Councilor for Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples: «We wanted to strongly support this initiative which welcomes international operators specialized in large events and weddings to our city, and who in Naples can rely on the skills and talent of good entrepreneurs and craftsmen. For some years now, Naples has become an important tourist reference and we are very satisfied for this, but also strongly committed to ensuring that tourism remains a permanent resource for our city. For this reason, we are working to conquer new targets and new markets.”

Based on the data collected by the Destination Wedding in Italy Observatory of the Centro Studi Turistici, the forecasts for 2024 are optimistic with an estimated increase of 8.8%, i.e. 1,200 more events compared to last year, archived with a turnover in growth of 34% and 830 million euros. The average expenditure for events is also growing (+10%) with a budget that in half of the cases exceeds 50 thousand euros (of which 35% dedicated to food and beverage). Interest in locations in southern Italy is also increasing. The B-Treat 2024 fits into this context: to propose Naples and Campania as places not only with vast tourist appeal, but as a destination for large luxury events.
