The Basilicata Region – Department of Infrastructure and Mobility – and the Basilicata Chamber of Commerce have signed a two-year agreement to support the competitiveness of local businesses and encourage the development of Basilicata’s tangible and intangible infrastructure. The parties, taking note of the fruitful institutional collaboration between the two bodies, confirm the desire to continue and consolidate the partnership through a constructive dialogue to address the challenges connected to the development of the potential of the territory and the overcoming of the existing critical issues, through the establishment of one or more permanent discussion tables.
The agreement also follows the path of listening, sharing and recognition of the infrastructural needs serving the Lucanian business system by the Lucanian Chamber of Commerce through the Infrastructure Program promoted by Unioncamere, collected in the White Paper on the infrastructural priorities of Basilicata 2022, drawn up by Lucanian Chamber of Commerce with the technical-scientific support of Uniontrasporti.
The strategic issues for which collaboration and the exchange of data and information are necessary, in order to encourage coordinated development of the territory, concern in particular the monitoring and updating of the White Paper of Basilicata’s infrastructural priorities; the implementation of targeted projects, in-depth focuses and intervention strategies; preventive information between the Basilicata Region and the economic system, giving continuity and further developing promotional initiatives for the development of the territory and for supporting and strengthening the competitiveness of the Lucanian business system.
