Umbria Region: former Northern League member Pastorelli officially joins Forza Italia

Another transition from one party to another is recorded in Umbria in the centre-right camp. After the announcement of recent days, the poisonous controversies within his former party, the League, the historic exponent Stefano Pastorelli, regional councilor and party leader in Assisi, has officially landed – as widely anticipated – in Forza Italia. The party leaders welcomed him with all the honors necessary in the participation room of the institutional building of the Region, seat of the legislative assembly.

Present were the regional coordinator of Forza Italia and mayor of Perugia, Andrea Romizi, the national spokesperson of Forza Italia, Raffaele Nevi, the provincial coordinator of Forza Italia of the province of Perugia, senator Fiammetta Modena, the vice-president of the regional council, Roberto Morroni the municipal coordinator of Assisi Evian Morani as well as members of the provincial coordination Marco Renga and Ramon Rustici. Councilor Pastorelli thanked those present and specified that his decision to join Forza Italia was taken “in total autonomy and shared with the group” that has been following him for years.
