Accident in highway: three vehicles involved. Shortly before 6.30 am, on the A14 Bologna-Taranto, the section between Molfetta and Bitonto towards Bari was temporarily closed due to a accident, which occurred at km 653.9, which involved two light vehicles and a heavy vehicle. Medical and mechanical emergency services, traffic police patrols and staff from the Bari 8th Section Directorate of Autostrade per l’Italia intervened at the scene of the event.
At the moment, within the closed section, the traffic is blocked towards Bari with a 1 km queue. Users heading towards Bari, after the obligatory exit at Molfetta, will be able to return to the A14 at Bitonto, in the direction of Bari, after having traveled along ordinary roads.
