Cosenza, poor purification. Alfonso Gallo began the “collective dismissal” of employees. Can or will anyone stop him?

What is happening in the wastewater treatment sector in Cosenza and Rende is simply shameful. The private manager Kratoswhich acts with the support of the Valle Crati Consortium and at this point we must also think of the Municipalities of Cosenza and Castrolibero, is proceeding with the dismissal of employees without notice.

Kratos’ deus ex machina is the infamous Alfonso Gallo, close to very opaque sectors of the state, cynical and vengeful manwho, deprived of the promised funding and deals, together with his henchmen Maximiliano Granata and Bruno Gualtieri has started a work that is just beginning.

All employees of Kratos, operational headquarters in Cosenza as well as former employees of the Valle Crati Consortium, will be fired to be replaced with new staff from other service companies. A real one “collective dismissal” disguised as individual dismissals spaced out over time to avoid the intervention of the Prefect. And that’s how the first employees were fired Stefania Barbuto and Mario De Rose who represent the historical employees of Valle Crati first, and then move on to Geko and then to Kratos, Gallo’s two companies. Dismissals that occurred without any valid legal justification.

But the “emptying the basin” operation of the former Valle Crati workers and now of Kratos does not end here, it is just a question of time. And a question arises spontaneously: what do the Prefect, the President of the Calabria Region and above all the unions do? Why doesn’t anyone want to get the judiciary involved to stop this scam?

It all stems from that damned 35 million euro project financing which was supposed to represent a solution for communities in community infringement, as well as a breath of fresh air for many workers who passed through Kratos: a hope transformed into a nightmare for many workers due to the shipwreck of project financing.

The Calabria Region, meanwhile, has not renewed the agreement with the Valle Crati Consortium for project financing which has thus passed to Sorical and it is paradoxical with a large element of malice to fire some employees who should soon be absorbed by Sorical. And regional and national politics changes while the Calabrian prosecutors, at the service of politics and the powerful, pretend nothing has happened, even if they associate with unpresentable characters.
