Discovering paper and in particular how it comes back to life thanks to recycling. This is the aim of Paper Week 2024 which AMIU wanted to join once again inside the Municipal Collection Center of Trani opened for the occasion to Trani and foreign students.
The event in Trani was part of the national program of the initiative promoted by Comieco. A delegation of French students from Bordeux who were guests in the city thanks to the Erasmus project of students from the “Rocca-Bovio-Palumbo” school also participated in the 2024 edition, an absolute novelty. In the international project, one of the main objectives is to develop environmental and waste awareness.
A theater workshop, an overview and a discussion on the topic of the waste cycle and circular economy as well as a guided tour. The students were involved in this and were also welcomed by the Mayor Amedeo Bottaro who underlined the importance of differentiating in a context in which it is becoming increasingly difficult to rely only on transporting waste to landfill.
