L’University of Calabria now has a desk dedicated to information, orientation and the union’s relationship with young people and people looking for work or reintegration into the job market. It’s about the CGIL Sol desk which from now on will offer different types of services to a potential audience of thirty thousand people.
Atinauguration Maria Grazia Nicita, Sol CGIL National manager, Angelo Sposato, General Secretary of CGIL Calabria, Massimiliano Ianni, General Secretary of CGIL Cosenza, Ivan Ferraro, Coordinator of Nidil CGIL Calabria, Emilia Bruno, Secretary of FLC CGIL Cosenza, Teresa Aiello, Secretary of CGIL Cosenza and manager of SUNIA Cosenza and Amelia Rovella, Secretary of FLC CGIL Calabria.
Says the Nidil Cgil Calabria Coordinator Ivan Ferraro:
“Having opened the branch at Unical represents an important starting point for building a future career path with students, based on their skills, helping them to orient themselves among the different job demands that the area offers and also updating their skills during the study phase, elements that are now indispensable and to which the CGIL has always paid the utmost attention, with a view to personal growth and worker protection”.

Furthermore, they will be present at the same counter All the services and therefore: the CAAF which will offer the possibility for students to have consultancy and processing of the mandatory ISEE model, and for workers to have the processing of tax models such as 730 and INCOME model; the INCA for those who lose their jobs and ask for the NASPI, the many non-EU students who study at our university will have advice for all the mandatory documentation relating to their stay in Italy; SUNIA to guide off-site students but also property owners in consultancy, in the stipulation and transmission of rental contracts at an agreed fee, without forgetting the individual and collective protection of all teaching staff, administrative staff and all other workers engaged in their daily activities within the Unical Campus.
