LIVORNO The president of the provincial Fipe Confcommercio Federica Garaffa Cristiani, becomes national testimonial of the Imprendigreen project, which accompanies market tertiary companies in the ecological transition.
The presentation of the Imprendigreen project, conceived by the trade association with the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, was held at the Confcommercio national headquarters in Rome.
Launched at the beginning of 2022 and implemented in the field of environmental sustainability in collaboration with the Scuola Universitaria Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa and Enea, Imprendigreen aims to raise awareness, qualify, train and accompany market tertiary companies in the ecological transition.
Federica Garaffa, provincial president of Fipe Confcommercio, has become the official testimonial of the project, as Pasticceria Cristiani, which she owns with her husband Sergio Cristiani, is among the companies that have spent the most on actions to reduce energy consumption.
Confcommercio conducted a survey on environmental sustainability and green investments among associated companies, revealing that over 50% of tertiary companies that invest in green have between 7 and 15 employees.
Good news also comes from the front of young businesses: 90% of young Italian entrepreneurs declare that they want to promote sustainability as an integral part of their activities.
The Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratinpraised Italy for being at the forefront of the ecological transition and applauded Confcommercio for the initiative.
Federica Garaffa Cristiani explains that with Imprendigreen it is simple to evaluate the environmental impact of your business, with a view to improving consumption. “Imprendigreen’s free certification also helped me obtain financing for energy efficiency.”
