Four days, from 17 to 20 April, the national school festival

The 2024 edition of TWS Euroschool, which will be held in Todi, was presented yesterday, Monday 18 March, in the Press Room of the Chamber of Deputies from 17 to 20 April.

The event, born in 1996, is characterized as a large educational festival aimed at schools throughout Italy. One month after the start of the event, 3,500 students and teachers have already booked their participation, but the aim is to exceed 5,000 attendances during the four days.

The press conference was opened by the president of the culture, science and education commission of the Chamber, Federico Molliconewho underlined the importance of the initiative, which was granted the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

At the end of the morning, an oriental dance masterclass with guest Raffaella Saturni.

Finally, the afternoon was once again dedicated to dance performances and music, with the schools ready to restart to return to their respective places of origin.

Presenting the event will be presenter Greta Pierotti, a well-known face of Rai Yo-Yo, currently involved in activities related to social issues and children’s rights.

The Mayor of Todi, Antonino Ruggiano, in his speech thanked Luigi Giorgietti for choosing Todi, a city that boasts an important history as an educational center of excellence, a role that can only be strengthened by a national initiative with a strong educational value. The positive impact that the event will have in economic terms was also highlighted, with thousands of overnight stays and days spent in the region, and also cultural and tourist promotion of the “green heart”.

The meetings and activities will see the use of the Municipal Theatre, the Eagle’s Nest, the Municipal Council Room, the Stone Room, the Frescoed Room and the Glass Room. Special shifts have been planned for visits to the sites of the city’s cultural circuit and for urban treks organized by the Beverly Pepper Foundation.
