“Rome! Rome! Rome!”. This is how Bruce Springsteen greeted his “people” in front of a packed Circus Maximus who didn’t let themselves be discouraged by the risk of a leaden and menacing sky that held their breath all day long. Sixty thousand fans who have been waiting for this evening for a year and have not given up: the Boss welcomes them at 7.30 pm sharp with ‘My love will not let you down’ and, then, “Death To My Hometown”, “No Surrender”, “Ghost “, “All night rehearsals”. Bruce changes the Ferrarese lineup, gives “Darkness of The Edge of Town” and, then, the splendid ballad “Letter to you”.

People want to sing, to dance, to exorcise the facts that have been troubling the country for days.
