Ermal Meta announced he was became a father. Fortuna Marie was born, his firstborn. The little girl’s mother is Chiara Sturdà, companion of the artist. In recent months, Ermal Meta had announced that he would become a father. Today, Wednesday 19 June, the happy news of the birth of his firstborn. The artist published a photo on Instagram in which Fortuna Marie’s little hand is placed on his. The shot is accompanied by a dedication which shows the artist’s happiness for the happy event: “My hand has never been bigger, and neither has my heart. 19.06.2024“. In an interview with Vanity Fair last month, Ermal Meta declared:

The only fears I can feel are related to the world we live in. Because it’s an unstable world, a dangerous world, things happen that are far beyond our understanding. There are two wars underway, one worryingly affecting Europe, the other full of horror. And as I was saying, we didn’t expect the arrival of a child. Every now and then, over the years, I thought about it and said to myself “if I had a child, what world would I take him to? In a decidedly ugly world.” Then it happened and discovering the arrival of a baby was wonderful.

The love between the artist and Chiara Sturdà

Fortuna Marie is the first daughter of the artist and Chiara Sturdà. Ermal Meta and his partner have decided to live theirs love in total confidentiality. A choice made in compliance with the wishes of the mother of her daughter, who he doesn’t like to appear: “I think it’s very respectful towards the other person. Chiara doesn’t like to appear and I have always respected this choice of hers. I have the great privilege of being able to make music, but private life is another thing“.
