With a post published on her Instagram profile, Asia Argento decided to celebrate a date that “has become even more important than my birthday”: the three years spent without taking alcohol or drugs. «Today I turn 3 years of sobriety», writes the actress. «This date is important to me than my birthday: three years ago today my journey of rebirth began.” So, Argento decided to embark on his journey back to life without drugs: «With the help of his brothers and sisters and the 12 steps program I’m making it, one day at a time. And this lifestyle, besides being beautiful, is much easier to follow than I imagined. I wouldn’t trade the hardest and worst day sober for the best day in use.”
The actress also wanted to talk about what was also an internal change for her: «The program works, it really works. I think different, I talk different, I dream different when sober. This is my almost fifty-year-old face, finally serene».
