The family broke the news in the following days with a statement released to the press, fans and Hollywood insiders. The star’s family did not reveal the cause of her death, but let it be known that Bucker died peacefully, surrounded by the affection of her loved ones.

Susan Buckner was born in Seattle, United States, on January 28, 1953. Beautiful and lively, in 1971 she won the Miss Washington crown and, the following year, represented the state of Washington in the beauty pageant Miss America. She later became a dancer of the Dean Martin Showjoining the girl group Fantasy and the musical duo Buckner and Pratt.
