The time has finally come. Today, Tuesday 7 May, the first semi-final of theEurovision Song Contest 2024 live from the Malmö Arena in Swedenthe winning country of the last edition with Tattoo by Loreen. 15 countries are ready to compete in this first round for a place in the highly coveted final on Saturday 11 May. There are 37 in total, including the host country and the Big Five already qualified for the final, among which there is also Italy, represented by Angelina Mango with the song Boredom with which he won the 2024 Sanremo Festival.
As a novelty for this edition, the Big Five will also perform live during the semi-finals, with a complete taste of their musical offerings. Commenting for Italy again this year are the voices of Mara Maionchi and Gabriele Corsirespectively in their second and fourth edition, while for Rai Radio 2 the simulcast commentary will be by Diletta Parlangeli and Matteo Osso.
It starts at 8.15 pm on Rai 2 tonight, 7 May, with the preview of the event Gabriele Corsi live from Malmö Arena. Then, at 9.00 pm, again on Rai 2, we get to the heart of Eurovision with the live broadcast again by Corsi plus Mara Maionchi connected from Rome.
