The soap opera continues. New chapter of the long dispute between the rapper Fedez and Codacons. The rapper, who will be heard by the Roman judges, as requested by his lawyers, is accused of slander by the president of Codacons, Carlo Rienzi. The complaint arose after Fedez accused the association of having published a misleading banner during the coronavirus pandemic. After today’s statements, the Court will decide on the possible indictment of Fedez, born Leonardo Federico Lucia. In the meantime, the rapper does not lose his ironic spirit and uses social media to comment on the situation. On Instagram, with a post titled “one day in the magistrate’s court, protect me”, he announces his trip to Rome for “yet another useless trial against that useless association”.
Fedez continues to play with social media and imitates the famous animated series ‘Mignolo e Prof’. In the story the rapper shows a collaborator asking: “Prof, what are we doing this evening?”. The answer is a clear reference to the ongoing legal battle: «What we do every night, Mignolo. Try not to be condemned by Codacons.” The rapper is then seen conversing with a hotel employee: «A small question for an Istat survey: in the Fedez – Codacons diatribe, who do you stand for?», asks the artist. The answer is in favor of Fedez who, finally, shirtless, quips ironically: «The president of Codacons is envious of my abs». Given the raw nerves between the rapper and the association, a complaint for bodyshaming cannot be ruled out…
