Kate and William celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary: it was 29 April 2011 when the wedding took place in London. For the occasion they published an unpublished shot of their wedding day on Instagram. It is a black and white photo, unpublished, and shared on their Instagram account: the Prince and Princess of Wales smile happily immediately after the wedding. Kate in her Alexander McQueen wedding dress and William in military uniform. “13 years old today!” we read in the caption.
The photo was taken inside Buckingham Palace by their personal photographer Millie Pilkington, who has always been at their side to capture the couple in their most significant moments. Including weddings. A moment of normality after the fear for Kate: the wedding anniversary of the royal couple in fact arrives while Kate is still undergoing chemotherapy which began in February, following her cancer diagnosis. She announced it herself with a social video.
