We are all better now. We are healed but I’ll explain what we had. They were devastating days, the hardest since the children were born. Anastasia and I got the hand-mouth-foot disease. A very bad thing, really. Anastasia had blisters all over her body. Luckily she never had a fever. I had the same thing as her but mostly on my mouth, throat and tongue. For three days I could only drink, it always hurt. My son Otto, however, only had a very high fever of 39. The only negative thing is that it can always come back. You are not immune once you have it.”
