Milan, Cristiano Iovino, Ilary Blasi’s alleged flirt, attacked. He won’t report it

Surrounded by five-six men and violently beaten. Cristiano Iovino, a 37-year-old personal trainer known for his alleged flirtation with Ilary Blasi in the separation story with Francesco Totti, was attacked in the Portello district of Milan on the night between Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd April. However, the victim chose not to press charges at the time and told few details of the attack to the police.

The aggression

At around 3.30 on Monday 22 April Cristiano Iovino was in via Marco Ulpio Traiano, Portello area in Milan. While he was returning home, he was surrounded by 5-6 men who, having got out of a van, began to beat him in various parts of the body and then ran away again in the van. The doctors who responded to the scene assisted the personal trainer, who however refused to be transported to hospital. Given the little information provided by Iovino to the police, all the details of the attack and the reasons for the gesture are not yet clear which, at least according to an initial reconstruction, seems premeditated and studied down to the smallest detail.

Cristiano Iovino

Iovino is a 37 year old personal trainer who lives between Rome and Milan. His name has circulated due to his alleged involvement in the affair of Ilary Blasi and Francesco Totti. He gave interviews about an alleged flirtation with the showgirl and was cited as a witness in the separation case between the two. In the documentary “Unica” Ilary Blasi spoke about Iovino, explaining that she had seen him for a coffee. The version of the personal trainer is different: in an interview with Il Messaggero, he said that they had met several times. To these statements Blasi replied that “the truth about him remains what he told”.
