Paolo Belli, unfounded news on the stop. Summer tour confirmed – DiLei

Paolo Belli was forced to cancel the last dates of his theater tour Just to make comedyas communicated in a note released on his social profiles on April 9th. No definitive stop, therefore, as had been erroneously reported by the press together with some alleged statements by the artist regarding the illness of his wife Deanna. DB Produzioni made a point of specifying all this in a new note dated April 19th, clarifying once and for all the “uncontrolled spread of unauthorized nor verified news”.

“PB Produzioni in reiterating the postponement of the last two dates of the theatrical tour and the commitments scheduled for the months of April and May, CONFIRM Paolo Belli’s summer tour starting in June. This clarification is necessary due to the news that has been circulating in the media for days and to give an answer to the many people who, in various ways, are contacting us for reassurances in this regard”, we read in the note released by the company which operates in the sector of artistic management and live music, as well as musical production for TV shows, private events, concerts and theatrical performances.

“Following the press note sent by us and published via social media on 9 April 2024 (…) unfortunately we have helplessly witnessed the uncontrolled spread of unauthorized news nor verified concerning not only the private sphere of the artist, but also the professional one, for which, moreover, we reserve the right to protect ourselves in the competent bodies”, continues the note.

The April 9 note above explained that “the last two appointments with have been postponed Just to make comedy” and that the first concert of the summer tour was “cancelled”. “PB Produzioni communicates that, for causes not dependent on the artist’s willthe next appointments with the last two seasonal reruns of Even as a Comedy by Paolo Belli scheduled for the month of April (11/04 Carate Brianza – Teatro L’Agorà, 12/04 Casale Monferrato – Teatro Municipale) and the first date of the summer tour (14/04 Sant’Antioco – Piazza) are currently postponed or cancelled. To Paolo, who at this moment he needs to be close to his familyour embrace and our closeness go.”

Paolo Belli’s alleged statements denied

A necessary clarification for the public who affectionately follows the artistic career of Paolo Belli, who is facing a difficult moment due to the illness of his wife Deanna. PB Productions was keen to underline how what happened, that is, reporting alleged press statements and quotes never released by Belli, had a negative impact on the work team “both on a human and professional level”.

“Paolo Belli has not released any statement to the press and the quotation marks reported in some press outlets are in no way truthful nor attributable to statements by Paolo Belli, and therefore the use that has been made of it is to be considered improper, as well as illicit. The only official news remains, as mentioned, the note we published on 9 April.
