Zanibelli on Festa Sport: when will there be a lift for the disabled and a Cremonesi gym?

While the Municipality prepares to celebrate the Sports Festival (Sportivamente) with the weekend in which the city squares will be invaded by the various sports disciplines and many opportunities for reflection with talks in which the protagonists are personalities and champions in sport, Laura Zanibelli, opposition councilor of Forza Italia takes advantage of the opportunity to remember how much there is still to be done in the city and provocatively launches a challenge to the mayor.

“It would be nice – declares the Italian councilor – if among the events of the rich program there was the public announcement by the Mayor, that after more than 3 years (in September there will be 4 to be precise) the lift for disabled people at the swimming pool is been repaired by FORUS! In an inclusive city, the Mayor can no longer pretend nothing has happened. What better occasion to make such an announcement than that of an “open-air party”? Open sky, almost like under the roof of the same swimming pool, where it’s raining cats and dogs now despite numerous reports!

The other expected announcement – continues Zanibelli – would be that the administration has activated the procedure to install the stands at the Cremonesi gym! Two years have now passed since the commitment of at least €120,000 and the acquisition of the estimates. Do you ever want costs to have increased in the meantime?
But with the change of pace we hope to find a solution to at least this need, given that the mayor does not want to take charge of the building or expansion of the Toffetti gym either alone or with others.
Happy Sports Day – concludes Zanibelli ironically – and thanks to the sports associations”!
