“Among the first actions after my inauguration, I arranged the refinancing of around 5 million euros for artisan businesses, to make the ranking of the artisan notice prepared by my predecessor D’Amario, which provided for a series of measures regarding support for businesses and economic, work, health and territorial services operators, connected to the Covid 19 emergency”.

This was said by the regional councilor for Productive Activities Tiziana Magnacca, participating yesterday morning in Chieti, in the meeting for the 70th anniversary of Confartigianato Chieti-L’Aquila, at the Marrucino theatre.

The councilor announced the need, also taking into account ongoing technological developments, to reformulate the regional law on crafts (regional law no. 23/2009), which provides for various actions to support artisan businesses. Since almost all of them are only paid for by the regional budget and have not been systematised with European investment funds, they have not, so far, been fully implemented to support artisan businesses.

“A need felt by President Marsilio is that, in this legislature, to commit further to a sector that clearly identifies Abruzzo to restore the identity and cultural sense of the work carried out by the artisan activities of our region”, commented Tiziana Magnacca recalling that within the Pr Fesr Abruzzo 2021/2027, a new “Microcredit” notice will be expected shortly.

“The encouragement of micro-entrepreneurship will necessarily entail important financial support for those who start an artisan business, which goes well with this type of support for self-entrepreneurship for an Abruzzo that also moves towards artisan traction”, concluded the regional councilor for Productive Activities.
