Milan, 9 May. The singer Madame, born Francesca Calearo, and the tennis player Camila Giorgi will appear before the investigating judge in Vicenza on 16 July when the first preliminary hearing of the investigation into fake Covid vaccines has been scheduled. Both could therefore risk being prosecuted after last March, the Venetian prosecutor Gianni Pipeschi had asked for 21 suspects to be sent to trial, including the singer-songwriter and the sportswoman accused of false ideology for having asked to obtain the green pass without having first carried out the vaccination. The two had turned to doctor Daniela Grillone Tecioiu who, together with four suspects – including her husband Andrea Giacoppo – asked to negotiate the sentence, a request that will be examined in another hearing not yet scheduled. Other defendants, however, are also accused of corruption and embezzlement.
The investigation began at the end of 2022, but the news exploded in February 2023 when Madame was preparing to participate in the Sanremo Festival. “I continue and will continue to complete all” vaccinations “necessary for me and useful for others,” she promised. The artist explained that she was “born and raised in a family that for various reasons began to doubt doctors and the measures of traditional medicine” and that she had almost always received “natural” medical care, except “in cases where chemical medicines such as antibiotics, painkillers or cortisone were needed.”
And he added in the post on Instagram: “It’s quick to start looking for an alternative and end up in a hellish circle of conspiracy theories.” In the notice of conclusion of the investigations it is underlined that Madame must answer for falsehood for having requested the false vaccination certificate for herself, facts which date back to November and December 2021. The same complaint for the tennis player who was (falsely) vaccinated on 15 September and 10 October 2021.
