In the world of contemporary design and architecture, the minimalism emerges as a philosophy that goes beyond mere aesthetics. It becomes a language that searches for essence, purity and functionality in every detail. In this context, Artists Village represents an exceptional example of how minimalism transforms spaces into life experiences.

Since its conception, this project embodies the search for simplicity and elegancewhere every element, from the choice of materials to the layout of the space, is subjected to rigorous editing to highlight its intrinsic beauty and practical usefulness.

Located in the vibrant heart of Berlin, Artists Village it is a testimony to the fusion between creativity and functionality. Designed by the renowned architectural firm LINEATUR, this minimalist house of only 40 m2 redefines urban living, transcending simple housing to become one harmonious combination of art and everyday life.

A bright and minimalist space

At first sight, Artists Village exudes modernity and sophistication. Its upper level has large windows that flood the interior with natural light, while the 4.5 meter high ceilings create an atmosphere of spaciousness and grandeur. “We transformed the upstairs of one of the townhouses into an expanded living room. The bright concrete space with 4.5 meter high ceilings made us feel like we were in a New York loft,” its creators proudly explain.

The essence of the project lies in its minimalist ethics, which honors the integrity of the original structure while giving it a contemporary twist. Interior design milestone, the wood it infuses warmth and character, inviting residents and visitors alike into a realm of serenity and comfort.

Digging deeper, we discover thedeliberate use of color to define spatial boundaries and evoke a sense of harmony. Each wall, painted in one of four carefully selected shades, contributes to creating a visually cohesive environmentwhere form fluidly meets function.

Space maximization

There functionality reigns supreme in spatial distribution, artistically divided into two distinct areas. The open bar area creates a cheerful space to share with friends, while the elevated retreat, adorned with custom furniture and handcrafted lighting fixtures, offers a space, a sanctuary of sorts, for relaxation and contemplation.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Artists Village represents a testament to holistic design thinking. From concept to execution, every aspect was meticulously crafted, encompassing not only architectural expertise, but also furniture design, budgeting and site supervision. “For the interior design we used only high-quality materials, including a lot of wood, to create a warm atmosphere and a harmonious color concept: four walls, four colours.”

For Tobi and Huli, the lucky inhabitants of this architectural wonder, Artists Village transcends mere refuge, embodying a lifestyle centered on creativity, intimacy and fun. It is more than a home: it is a sanctuary for the soul, where art and daily life intertwine in perfect harmony.
